Top 10 Periods to visit Milan

One of the questions we get most is “When is it good to visit Milan?” so here is the list of the very best things going on. Remember to check out our calendar for the exact dates, as they can vary a bit from year to year.

Milano Design Week/Fuorisalone – one week in spring, usually in April, in 2023 it is April 17th-23rd. A week with very lively cosmopolitan atmosphere and cocktail parties, where Milan is turned upside-doown in occasion of the Salone del Mobile furniture fair, In the ciyt you get the up-and-coming designers’ bid on what the future will look like.In the same period as Milano Design Week we also have Milano Art Week and Miart going on., it is an incredible month for contemporary and modern art and design..

Piano City – 3 days during the penultimate weekend of May. There is piano music everywhere with lots of fantastic free concerts in the city’s parks, squares and several of Milan’s beautiful courtyards. The concerts go on 24 hours a day and the city teems with life and people.

Scala Filarmonici plays a free concerts on Piazza Duomo – the second Sunday of June with a speciel guest perfomance – this is a speciel and magical evening where thousands og Milanese of all ages fill up Piazza Duomo for a very speciel night.

Estate Sforzesca – from the beginning of June to the end of August there is entertainment almost every night in the central courtyard of Castello Sforzesco of theater, dance or music, a wonderful way to spend the summer evenings with the locals. Bear in mind that July and August are the hottest months in Milan and when we say hot we means sweltering; temperatures up to 35 degrees Celsius and they don’t go down much at night

TRI.P. at Triennale di Milano – an experrimental music festival in June/July with some of contemporary music’s most exciting names.

MITO September Music – a festival which every year focuses on a theme and offers performances in both Milan and Turin for 20 days in the beginning of September.

JazzMi – Milano jazz festival the first two weeks of November november. Some of the world’s finest jazz musicians come to Milan to play..

Artigiani in Fiera – Enormous Christmas market at Milan’s fair during the first week of December, actually the atmosphere in Milan during the month of December is wonderful with lots of ice skating rinks and Christmas markets. Read more about them here and here.

Opening Night at La Scala theater– the new season at Teatro della Scala starts with an opera on December 7th remember that if you want to experience this very speciel night, you have to book your tickets a long time in advance. You canfind the links in our events calendar.

Milan Fashion Week – February and September, the city is hectic during this week with cocktail parties and many other things.

Top 10 tidspunkter at besøge Milano på

Et af de spørgsmål vi får allermest er “Hvornår er det bedst at besøge Milano?” så her er listen over de allerbedste tidspunkter at komme hertil. For alle begivenhederne skal du huske at tjekke i vores kalender for den præcise dato, da det varierer lidt fra år til år.

Milano Design Week/Fuorisalone – en uge i foråret, normalt i april, i 2023 er det d. 17.-23. april. En uge med en helt speciel atmosfære og cocktailparties, hvor Milano bliver vendt fuldstændig på hovedet i forbindelse med den store møbelmesse Salone del Mobile, på Furoisalone, der bogstavelig talt beyder udenfor messen, giver Milanos mest interessante nye designere deres bud på fremtiden. I den samme periode som  Milano Design Week har vi også Milano Art Week og Miart., det er en helt fantastisk måned for moderne kunst og design.

Piano City – 3 dage i den næstsidste weekend i maj. Der er klavermusik overalt med masser af fantastiske gratis koncerter i parker, på pladser og flere af Milanos smukke historiske gårdhaver. Koncerterne finder sted hele døgnet rundt og byen er fuld af liv og mennesker.

Scala Filarmonici spiller gratis koncert på Piazza Duomo den anden søndag i juni med speciel gæstesolist – dette er en helt speciel og magisk aften, hvor tusindvis af milanesere i alle aldre fylder Piazza Duomo op til en helt speciel koncert.

Estate Sforzesca – fra starten af juni til slutningen af august,er der underholdning næsten hver aften i den centrale gård på Castello Sforzesco med teater, dans og musik, en skøn måde at holde sommer sammen med milaneserne på. Husk dog at juli og august er de varmeste måneder i Milano, og når vi siger varmt, så mener vi meget varmt; med temperaturer op til 35 grader og de falder ikke meget om natten.

TRI.P. på Triennale di Milano – en eksperimenterende musikfestival i juni/juli med nogle af musikkens mest spændende aktuelle navne.

MITO September Musik – en festival, der hvert år fokuserer på et tema og tilbyder forestillinger i Milano og Torino i 20 dage i starten af september.

JazzMi – Milano jazzfestival de første 2 uger af november. Nogle af verdens bedste jazzmusikere kommer til Milano.

Artigiani in Fiera – kæmpe julemarked på Milanos messe i den første uge af december, i det hele taget er atmosfæren Milano fantastisk i hele julemåneden med masser af skøjteaner og julemarkeder læs vores indlæg om dem her og her

Pamper yourself when you are in Milan

When you think Milan, we bet you automatically think fashion and beauty. Treat yourself to a manicure (Aveda manicure €22 including nail polish/€25 French) or a pedicure that will make your feet look amazing in those new sandals you just got (Aveda pedicure €45 including nail polish).

Italians are incredibly skilled at styling hair but haircuts? Not-so-much. It is actually hard to find hairdressers that can cut other than thick, beautiful Italian hair.

If you absolutely want a haircut, try either Toni&Guy, they’ve got 3 salons in Milan (remember to book an appointment) or Lepri hair spa, who only use organic products.They’ve also got a mini Spa, where you can get facial treatments, massages, manicures etc. It’s also a good idea to book appointments here.

In Milan there is also a great and very beautiful Spa near Porta Romana QC Terme Milano where you can spend the whole day relaxing and swimming in the Thermal Water and get a massage – DaySpa25 includes the whole day in the Spa, a 25-minute massage and free buffet at €80, but you can put together your visit as you wish. You’ll find the center on Piazza Medaglie D’Oro 2 (find on map).

You should definitely visit one of the city’s many Erboristerie (herbalist’s) if you’re into all things natural, they sell great herbal medicine and beauty products and normally the personnel is very skilled and knowledgeable.

Forkæl dig selv, mens du er i Milano

Når du tænker på Milano, tænker du garanteret mode og skønhed. Forkæl dig selv med en manicure (Aveda manicure 22€ med neglelak/25€ French) eller en pedicure, som får dine fødder til at se helt fantastiske ud i de nye sandaler du lige har købt (Aveda pedicure 45€ med neglelak).

Italienske frisører er fantastiske til at sætte hår, men klipninger? Not-so-much. Faktisk er det svært at finde frisører her, der kan finde ud af at klippe andet end kraftigt italiensk hår.

Hvis du absolut vil klippes, skal du prøve enten Toni&Guy, de har 3 saloner i Milano (husk at bestille tid) eller Lepri hair spa, som kun bruger økologiske produkter. De har også en mini Spa, hvor du kan få ansigtsbehandlinger,manicure, massage osv. Det er også en god idé at bestille tid her.

I Milano er der også en hel fantastisk og meget lækker Spa ved Porta Romana QC Terme Milano hvor du kan tilbringe hele dagen med  at svømme i det mineralholdige vand og få en massage – DaySpa25 inkluderer en hel dags ophold i Spa’en, 25 minutters massage og fri buffet til 80€, men du kan selv sætte dit besøg sammen, som du vil. Hvis du er vild med naturprodukter, skal du helt klart besøge en af byens mange Erboristerie (urtekræmmere) De sælger fantastiske naturmedicin- og skønhedsprodukter, og personalet er normalt meget kyndigt.

The best shopping route with a shot of culture for your short visit to Milan

Winter sales 2023 January 5th-March 5th

For those of you who are only in town for a short visit we have made a mini route where you get all the best Milan has to offer in terms of both shopping, food, architecture and culture. For our first express shopping route we have chosen the area from Piazza Gae Aulenti to Piazza della Scala, from the new and modern to the old and traditional.

  • Start on Piazza Gae Aulenti; Milan’s newest area, where you should see the internationally acclaimed buildings “Bosco verticale” (the vertical forest))
  • On the piazza you find the famous Muji,
  • Grom ice cream,
  • Replay store with Italian denim and a nice bar where you can have your morning coffee,
  • and Illy café – the world’s best espresso.
  •  Located under the square is the supermarket Esselunga if you want to shop for specialties.
  • From there continue down Corso Como and check out the famous design store and art gallery at no. 10 – good place for lunch.
  • at the end of Corso Como turn left and check out High Tech with all you can desire for your home and on the square (Piazza XXV Aprile) is food temple Eataly
  • Continue into the Brera area (Via Solferino, Via San Marco and Corso Garibaldi) which is the old artistic neighbourhood of Milan with lots of quirky and chic stores and galleries.
  • If you’re here on either a Monday or a Thursday it is worth your while to visit the open air market in Via San Marco.
  • Visit the Pinacoteca di Brera for a shot of culture.
  • The area is rich on places for lunch and a great aperitivo
  • Continue down to Piazza della Scala with Milan’s famous Scala theater.

If you still have energy and time to spare you are now directly behind Piazza Duomo just walk thorugh the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele which links Piazza della Scala and Piazza Duomo and you have Milan’s cathedral right in front of you.

Now you are probably starving and you are close to several good restaurants e.g. Langosteria Cafè,4, Galleria del Corso (find on map) excellent seafood €€€, Giacomo Arengario €€ on top of Museo del Novecento (find on map) with an amazing view of Piazza Duomo. and Piz, 34, Via Torino (find n map) genuine Neapolitan pizza €,

Til vores første ekspres shopping rute har vi valgt området fra Piazza Gae Aulenti til Piazza della Scala, fra det nye og moderne til det gamle og traditionsrige.

  • Start på Piazza Gae Aulenti; Milanos nyeste område, hvor du bør se de berømte bygninger “Bosco verticale” (den lodrette skov)
  • på piazzaen finder du den berømte Muji,
  • Grom is,
  • Replayforretningen med italiensk denim og en hyggelig bar, hvor du kan drikke din morgenkaffe,
  • og Illy café – verdens bedste ekspresso.
  • Under pladsen ligger supermarkedet Esselunga, hvis du vil shoppe specialiteter
  • Fra der fortsætter du ned ad Corso Como og besøg den berømte designforrtening og kunstgalleri i nr. 10 – også et godt sted for frokost.
  • gå til venstre for enden af Corso Como og tjek High Tech med alt, hvad hjertet kan begære til hjemmet og på pladsen (Piazza XXV Aprile) finder du madtemplet Eataly, hvor du også kan vælge at spise frokost.
  • Fortsæt ind i Brera området (Via Solferino, Via San Marco og Corso Garibaldi) som er Milanos gamle kunstnerområde med masser af små chikke forretninger og kunstgallerier.
  • Hvis du er her enten mandag eller torsdag er det bestemt værd at besøge udendørsmarkedet i Via San Marco.
  • Besøg Pinacoteca di Brera for et shot kultur.
  • Området er fyldt med gode frokost– og aperitivosteder
  • Fortsæt ned til Piazza della Scala med Milanos berømte La Scala.

Hvis du stadig har energi og tid til overs, står du nu direkte bag Piazza Duomo, gå bare igennem Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, som forbinder Piazza della Scala og Piazza Duomo, og så ligger Milanos domkirke lige foran dig.

1. Corso Garibaldi /Via Moscova /Via Solferino/ Heart of Brera / Corso Como

In the photo you see Milan’s brand new neighbourhood Porta Nuova, you also find the famous “Bosco Verticale” (vertical forest)  behind Piazza Gae Aulenti. You must absolutely visit HighTech Cargo, a great store with home and lifestyle objects. In the rest of this area you find the quaint, trendy boutiques with the up-and-coming young designers where you can find cool, unique stuff.

  • Shops: In Via Solferino is the world’s best men’s shoes shop – Iliprandi (find on map). Thursdays there’s a characteristic open air market here with fruit, vegetables and clothes.
  • Via Solferino is a treasure trove of amazing, original boutiques (find on map) check out the unique clothes store Goods at 2, Via Castelfidardo (find on map) the concept is exclusivity, they sell their own range of silk shirts but also have other brands from France and Spain they also have bags and shoes they have have frequent discount days and the jewellery is also unique.
    Also check out the luxury fashion outlet Outlet Matia’s in 4, Piazza Carlo Mirabello (find on map).
    HighTech Cargo (find on map) is on Piazza XXV Aprile , where you’ll also find foodie paradise Eataly, which is housed in the converted Teatro Smeraldo. Here you can get specialties from small producers, it is also a fantastic place to eat or just have coffee with pastries. If you want delicacies to take home with you try also in the Esselunga supermaket situated beneath Piazza Gae Aulenti
    From here you continue down super chic Corso Como – with the shop 10 Corso Como, which also houses the art gallery Galleria Carla Sozzani and leads you into Milan’s brand new area Porta Nuova.
    Fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni’s store is located in Via Capelli, the short stretch between Corso Como and Piazza Gae Aulenti (find on map).
    Round the corner you find the great laboratory and shop Arzigogolo, that makes very beautiful and original necklaces, earrings and textile bags at surprisingly affordable prices, it’s at 11, Via Maroncelli (find on map).
  • Coffee:: Panarello, 52, Via della Moscova, great pastry!! (find on map), at the same address you also find Pattini and and 50 meters from there in the direction of Corso Como there is Radetzky (find on map).
  • Lunch: Here is the very original Tramè, Piazza San Sempliciano 7 (find on map) and 22, Via Monte Grappa (find on map), where they prepare classical Venetian sandwiches, the place is cosy and the choice is great
    We also recommend Fioraio Bianchi Caffè a florist and café at 7, Via Montebello.
    In 12, Corso Garibaldi you can get organic burgers at Baobab (find on map)
    Then there is Via Palermo a road wit many interesting eateries (find on map)

    Pandenus, 24, Via Mercato (find on map), great lunch and aperitivo, breakfast every day from 7 am.
  • Italian ice cream: Grom, Piazza Gae Aulenti (find on map) good concept and excellent icecream.
    Rivareno, 20, Via Mercato (find on map) – absolutely fabulous ice cream made with only fresh, natural ingredients and sweetened with cane sugar.

2. Via Montenapoleone

The famous fashion quadrangle Quadrilatero della moda has its name after the four streets it is enclosed by: Via Montenapoleone, via Manzoni, Via della Spiga and Corso Venezia. This area is a celebration of luxury and beauty and is genuine old Milan and it is definitely worth a visiti. Many of the boutiques are entire fashion shows in themselves.

  • Shops: here you’ll find them all; Armani, D&G, Dior, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Valentino, Prada, Versace, Cavalli, Missoni, Hermès, Burberry, Kartell, Alessi, Comptoir des Cottoniers, Trussardi , Paul Smith, (the last 5 are in Via Manzoni).
    Also check out the luxury fashion outlet Outlet Matia’s in 37, Corso Venezia (find on map).
  • Coffee: While you’re here go and enjoy coffee at the charming Pastry shop Cova, 8, Via Montenapoleone with courtyard.
    Pastry shop Marchesi (find on map) one of Milan’s oldest pastry shops has opened a new shop here in 9, Via Montenapoleone.
  • Lunch: GB Bar, 2, Via Agnello (find on map)
    Another exclusive and very cosy restaurant in this area is Il Salumaio di Via Montenapoleone at 10, Via Santo Spirito (find on map) – this is also a great place to have a coffee break.

    Princi Bakery, Corso Venezia 21 (find on map) in principle this is a bakery but they prepare delicious lunch dishes: pasta, risotto and salads. Go early (before 12.30) because the place is normally packed!!
    Panini Durini, 26, Via Durini (find on map), small place but they make absolutely delicious sandwiches, soups, salads AND they’ve got incredible coffee (also to go) and cakes.

3.  Via Torino/PortaTicinese/Corso Genova

In Via Giacomo Mora (find on map) there are also a couple of cosy places for lunch.
For tasty vegetarian food check out La Vecchia Latteria, 6, Via dell’Unione (find on map).
Italian ice cream:: Grom, 51, Corso di Porta Ticinese  (find on map) good concept and excellent ice cream.

4. San Babila/Corso Vittorio Emanuele

In this area you are the easy prey for street vendors who will try to make you buy books, bracelets and other stuff. They are really nice but once you start talking to them you won’t get away until you buy something. Ignore them, they’ll try to make you take a bracelet saying it’s a gift – DON’T TAKE IT (unless, of course, you want to buy it)!

We are in the center of the city and here you find for example:

  • The regular High Street shops i.e. Brian & Barry – department store with an Eataly department. Boggi (great outfits for him), Diesel,  Max & Co, Max Mara, Liu Jo,Sephora, GAP, Intimissimi, Calzedonia, Yamamay,  Kiko, La Rinascente – department store,Sisley, Guess, Swatch, Footlocker, Benetton,  H&M, COS, … & Other Stories and Zara.
    #roundTheCorner the outlet  Intrend Diffusione Tessile (if you’re into Max Mara ,Max & Co), very cheap compared with their official shops, it is in Largo Corsia dei Servi). (Find on map)
    The beautiful Galleria Vittorio Emanuele with shops Stefanel, Prada, Borsellini, Gucci, Louis Vuitton
    • Lunch; Luini –  note that it is closed in August – (they make Panzerotti – a kind of mini calzone either fried or baked, there’s normally a very long queue, but it’s very well organized and fast and more importantly; it’s worth the wait, you can eat it picnic style on Piazza San Fedele (right behind – (find on map) where you can enjoy coffee afterwards in the very hip Lavazza Store.
      Mercato del Duomo (food market, bistrot and restaurant with an incredible view over Piazza Duomo).
      If you want to see and be seen there are lots of outdoor places on Corso Vittorio Emanuele itself, Italians don’t go here, they are typical tourist traps.
      Worth mentioning is also Fratelli La Bufala, 8, Galleria San Carlo  (find on map). On the same square you have Gino Sorbillo Neapolitan pizza in Milan.
      Inside the Museo del Novecento right at Piazza Duomo you find the exclusive Giacomo Arengario with a view on the Duomo and the city.
      Crocetta – Panini D’Autore, 5, Piazza Diaz with excellent sandwiches, salads and first courses.
      Panini Durini, 4, Via Mengoni (find on map), delicious sandwiches, cakes and coffee to go.
      On the top floor of department store La Rinascente there are several restaurants, a food market and the most amazing view over Piazza del Duomo.
  • Coffee:: Try out the delicious coffee with whipped cream at San Carlo al Corso, on Piazza San Carlo (find on map) or sip it at the exclusive Gucci Café halfway in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele (find on map) where you also find Prada’s in-store coffeshop/pastry shop Marchesi on the first floor with an amazing view of the Galleria. Hidden behind the scaffolding In Piazza San Babila for the new metro line is a real gem Pascucci at 22, Corso Europa (find on map). They import their own blend of organic South American coffee, you can also get lunch here.
    Then there is the Lavazza Store, the slow coffee center in Piazza San Fedele (find on map).

5. Corso Buenos Aires with adjoining streets

  • Shops: H&M, Zara, Conbipel, Benetton, Pepe Jeans,  Kiko (affordable makeup), Guess kids, Vergelio sko, Bata shoes,  Levi’s, Antony Morato, Geox , Elena Miro, Freddy, Furla, Intimissimi Lingeri, Liu-Jo, Camicissima (shirts for him & her), Celio (for him), Havaianas, Tezenis Lingeri, bassetti (home innovation), Du Pareil Au Meme (kids’ clothes) OVS (Italian low-cost clothing) have opened their so far biggest store in 21, Corso Buenos Aires
    The biggest and first shop in the Japanese chain Muji, to have opened in Milan.  

In adjoining Via Lecco no. 2  (find on map) you find Lisa Corti #roundTheCorner who sells colourful tablecloths, bedspreads, blankets for you couch, ceramics and clothes.
Viale Tunisia  Carpediem shop and at 6, Via Bernardino Ramazzini is East Market Shop – a spin-off of Milan’s absolute best flea market East Market – (find on map) – a must-see for vintage lovers.
Lunch:

Coffee:
you could probably do with a break from the crowds on Corso Buenos Aires, so go into Indro Montanelli Public Gardens and have a coffee break at Bar Bianco (find om map); or go to  Panarello,  famous for their pastries (find on map) Italian ice cream:
Grom, 13, Corso Buenos Aires  (find on map) or 6, Piazza Argentina (find on map) good concept and excellent ice cream.

This area is actually a shopping-route. Start at Via Marghera – via Belfiori – Corso Vercelli – Corso Magenta – check out the luxury fashion outlet Outlet Matia’s at 12, Corso Magenta (find on map – with a detour to Via Vincenzo Monti and a cultural break at “The Last Supper” (you have to book tickets phone number +39 02 92800360) another must-see is art gallery/design store Spazio Rossana Orlandi at 14/16, Via Matteo Bandello which is just a little out of the way but so worth visiing.

1. Corso Garibaldi /Via Moscova /Via Solferino/ Hjertet af Brera / Corso Como

På billedet ser du Milanos helt nye kvarter Porta Nuova, her kan du også se den meget omtalte “Bosco Verticale” (den lodrette skov), som ligger bag Piazza Gae Aulenti. Her skal du klart ind til HighTech Cargo, som er en skøn boligindretningsforretning. I resten af området findes de lidt skæve trendy butikker med de mindre kendte designere, hvor du kan gøre masser af gode fund.

  • Butikker:  Via Solferino ligger verdens skønneste butik med herresko – Iliprandi (find på kort).Om torsdagen finder du et klassisk udendørsmarked her med frugt, grønt og tøj.
    Via Solferino er en skattekiste af skønne, originale forretninger (find på kort), tjek den unikke tøjforretning Goods i Via Castelfidardo 2 (find på kort) konceptet er eksklusivitet, de sælger silkeskjorter af eget mærke men har også andre, fortrinsvis franske og spanske, mærker, de har også sko og tasker, de har jævnligt dage med rabatter, deres smykker er også unikke.

    HighTech Cargo (find på kort) finder du på Piazza XXV Aprile, hvor vi også har madmekkaet Eataly, som har til huse i det konverterede Teatro Smeraldo. Her kan du få specialiteter fra små landbrug , det er også et fantastisk sted at spise eller bare drikke kaffe med kage. Hvis du vil have delikatesser med hjem prøv også supermarkedet Esselunga, der ligger under Piazza Gae Aulenti.
    Herfra kommer du til super chikke Corso Como – med butikken 10 Corso Como, som også huser kunstgalleriet Galleria Carla Sozzani – som fører til det nye område i Milano, Porta Nuova.
    Modeblogger Chiara Ferragnis butik finder du i Via Capelli, det korte stykke mellem Corso Como og Piazza Gae Aulenti (find på kort) .
    Rundt om hjørnet finder du det fantastiske laboratorium og forretning  Arzigogolo, som laver og sælger meget smukke og originale halskæder, øreringe og tekstiltasker til forbløffende rimelige priser, den ligger i Via Maroncelli 11 (find på kort).

2. Via Montenapoleone

Den berømte modefirkant Quadrilatero della moda har sit navn efter de fire gader den ligger indenfor: Via Montenapoleone, via Manzoni, Via della Spiga og Corso Venezia. Dette områder, der fejre luksus og skønhed er virkelig en tur værd, du får det autentiske gamle Milano at se. Mange butikker er som et helt modeshow i sig selv.

  • Butikker: Her finder du dem alle; Armani, D&G, Dior,  Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Valentino, Prada, Versace, Cavalli, Missoni, Hermès, Burberry, Kartell, Alessi, Comptoir des Cottoniers, Trussardi , Paul Smith, (de sidste 5 er på Via Manzoni).

    En anden eksklusiv og meget hyggelig restaurant i dette område er Il Salumaio di Via Montenapoleone i Via Santo Spirito 10 (find på kort) – Det er også et skønt sted til en kaffepause.

    Princi Bakery, Corso Venezia 21 (find på kort) det er pricipielt et bageri, men de laver lækre frokostretter; pasta, risotto og salater. Tag derhen tidligt (før 12.30) for stedet er altid proppet!!

I dette område er du det lette bytte for gadesælgere, der prøver at få dig til at købe bøger, armbånd og andet. De er utroligt søde, men hvis du først giver dig i snak med dem, kommer du ikke videre, før du har købt et eller andet. Ignorér dem, de vil prøve at få dig til at tage et armbånd og siger det er en gave – TAG DET IKKE (medmindre du gerne vil købe det, selvfølgelig)!

    Frokost; Luini – bemærk at de holder ferielukket i august – (de laver Panzerotti – som er en slags mini calzone enten friturestegte eller bagt i ovnen, der er meget lang kø, men den er hurtig og det er køen værd, den kan spises i bedste picnic stil på Piazza San Fedele, lige bagved, (find på kort), hvor du kan nyde din kaffe bagefter i den meget lækre Lavazza Store.
    Il Mercato del Duomo (madmarked, Burger King: bistrot og restaurant med fantastisk udsigt ud over Piazza Duomo).
    Vil du se og ses er der er masser af fortovscafeer på selve Vittorio Emanuele, som italienerne synes er for dyre, deciderede turiststeder.
    Inde i selve Museo del Novecento lige ved Piazza Duomo finder du den eksklusive Giacomo Arengario med udsigt over Duomo.
    Værd at nævne  er også Fratelli La Bufala, Galleria San Carlo 8 (find på kort) På den samme plads finder du Gino Sorbillo, ægte napolitansk pizza i Milano.
